Tuberculosis does not only affect the lungs. In India it very commonly affects the fallopian tubes and the lining of the uterus, and it is one of the largest single causes of tubal infertility here. In one classic Mumbai study of 300 women with tubal-factor infertility, 117 — nearly 4 in 10 — had tuberculosis as the cause. It is often completely silent: no cough, no fever, sometimes no symptom at all except that a pregnancy is not happening.

- DOCTOR KO DIKHAO — Shaam ka halka bukhaar + raat ko pasina + wazan girna, chahe khaansi bilkul na ho
